In about 21 hours, the New Horizons spacecraft will complete its nearly 10 year mission to photograph and explore the Dwarf Planet Pluto. While spacecrafts have explored most of the planets in our Solar System, Pluto has yet to really be studied. So this will be historic indeed. If you are interested there will be a lot of news coverage. Below are some links that may be helpful for those looking to watch history unfold....

Cheers and don't forget to look up ; )
What an amazing chance to explore all of history from a myriad of perspectives the Mount Si Big History Project provides me as an educator. The MSHS Big History Team (Mr. Tomlisson, Ms. Holloway, as well as myself) are always looking for routes to improve the implementation, enjoyment, and effectiveness of the Mount Si Big History Project. This year, we plan to launch our own website in the hopes of providing students, families, as well as teachers an interactive, accessible, and successful experience with the Mount Si Big History Project. Look for updates as the summer goes, and assuredly as the launch of the 2015-2016 school year approaches!
